Company history

In 1992, one of the world's leading suppliers to the building and construction industry was looking for a meticulously fashioned, ergonomic sealant and adhesive applicator that would set new standards in both technique and design. In response to these requirements, and inspired by our own ideas, SORATON SA was born.

The company completed development of its first production tools in 1995, and was then ready to start manufacturing the drives and the first cartridge cradles. Since then, we have continually added new cartridge cradles. The result? Seven drives and more than 60 different cradles to date.

In 1999, we added a second production plant in Taiwan. This is where we manufacture our EconoMax® applicators.

In 2001, SORATON SA was the only Swiss company to be awarded the coveted "Trophée International de la Construction" for the development of our HandyMax® applicators.

In 2010, SORATON SA was awarded the "Platinum Technology" prize for qualitiy and best trade name in Geneva, Switzerland.

In 2017, SORATON SA received the "International Construction Award" in Madrid, Spain.
